    About: The Medical Doctor (MD) program offers comprehensive training in medical science and clinical practice. Delivered in English, this postgraduate program prepares students for a career in healthcare through rigorous coursework and practical experience. Students engage in various clinical settings to gain hands-on exposure to patient care and medical procedures.
    Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue diverse career paths in the healthcare sector, such as working as physicians, specialists, or researchers. They may also find opportunities in public health, healthcare administration, and academia.

Medical Education Program's primary goal is to prepare confident medical doctors possessing the knowledge and skills according to international standards for undergraduate medical education. Our program bases on the global standards of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME). According to the decision accreditation council, the N05 MD program was granted on 2018 10th of January.

MD Program covers four main phases

Phase I (I- IV terms ) - Fundamentals of biomedical sciences, System based Body structure and functions system-based, Clinical skills (particularly communication skills/ procedures, manipulations), Introduction to Research Methodology, PBL sessions (along with the whole course ).

Phase II (V_VI terms) - the main emphasis comes on pathogenesis and morphological basis of diseases (system-based), Introduction to Physical Diagnosis, and Integrated case study (along with the whole course ).

Phase III (VII-VIII term) - clinical subjects integrated with clinical skills - Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology and etc.

Phase IV (IX-XIII term) - Clinical attachments/rotations based on bedside teaching and mastering relevant clinical skills - Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ob/Gyn, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Emergency Medicine, and Medical Genetics (vertical integration).

Program objectives and learning outcomes in the courses are achieved through the lectures (classical and interactive), group work, practical sessions, and the student's independent work.

The lectures are focused on outlining the necessary provisions of the discussion topics, formulation of substantiated issues, and critical analysis. In the teaching process with using modern teaching methods, such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Role Play, Case-study, tutorials, Clinical Based Learning (CBL), and Bedside teaching (BST) methods, students integrate received knowledge in clinical skills.
