Kristiyan Valkov - Applied Computer Science

"I chose Applied Computer Science because I love coding and computers in general. For me it's a passion to continue to grow and explore the world of computers. I chose THUAS particularly because it's hand on and not just theory. It gives me a chance to experience a lot of the problems I might run into in the future. And as for why I chose the Netherlands I have heard a lot about the country of how beautiful it is but most importantly it has a high level of inclusivity and education, those are the two main reasons why I chose the Netherlands. Right now, I feel like I have made the right choice with the university and the country as the lecturers are really good, and the material is keeping me intrigued and wanting to learn more. Sometimes things may get too challenging but the teachers are always there to help, which I really appreciate. Overall, I really like life here in the Netherlands as its save and I love how the program of Applied Computer Science is made and managed."

Ambar Weber Gonzalez - Electrical and Electronic Engineering

"If there is one field of study that is relevant to our modern society, it is electrical engineering. Electricity is needed everywhere! From agriculture to transportation, from industry to the medical sector, and, of course, the very device you are using to read this. If you want to secure your spot in the job market and be able to work in virtually all sectors, choose Electrical and Electronic Engineering! I love this programme because it teaches you to bring devices to life. You ensure that they receive power to function or enable them to communicate with their environment and perform actions. Even through the struggle of coming as a foreign student, having done high school in another country, it has been a great experience for me. Would you like to learn more about the programme or studying in Delft? Feel free to send me an email."

Rebecca Howard - International and European Law

"Hi. I am Rebecca! As a third-year student, I can provide you with the latest insights on navigating your studies, managing your time, and making the most out of your experience at THUAS. Starting this programme at 18 was a big step for me, and I know many of you might be feeling the same way I did back then. I chose this programme for its strong international perspective and broad range of subjects, and because THUAS is an Applied Sciences University. The practical approach here means you’re not just learning theory—you’re applying it in real-world situations and building the skills you need for a legal career. Feel free to ask me anything, and I’ll do my best to help!"

Teodora Taşip - Process and Food Technology

''Hey! I'm Teo, a second-year student in the Fast-Track Process and Food Technology (PFT) program. PFT offers a broad range of opportunities and career paths, with a hands-on approach that provides valuable real-world experience from the start. What's truly special is the inclusive environment filled with friendly people—from fellow students to supportive teachers. There are organized fun activities throughout the year to help everyone connect and build a strong community, not only within PFT but also throughout The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS). Studying in The Hague offers a fantastic experience in a diverse and safe city with plenty of student events. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the course, THUAS, or student life!''
