Introduction
This qualification is designed to give the holder a taste of the field of TESOL / TEFL to the extent of being able to decide if they wish to take things further and enter the world of teaching English to speakers of other languages. The holder will also be able to survey job opportunities knowledgeably and will be able to perform at an interview for a teaching post. However, a further and more comprehensive teaching qualification would be advisable to allow full competency in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
