ACCA Accredited
This program has received exemption accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Deree graduates from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2027, who would like to continue their studies and obtain the ACCA professional qualification are entitled to receive exemptions from the following 5 ACCA papers:
- Business and Technology (BT)
- Management Accounting (MA)
- Financial Accounting (FA)
- Corporate and Business Law (LW)
- Financial Reporting (FR) (with completion of modules AF3104, AF4207 and AF4323)
In addition, the program has received exemptions from all Foundations in Accountancy papers.
Courses examine the application of accounting theory and practice and cover the areas of financial reporting and analysis, cost management and performance evaluation, taxation, auditing and forensic accounting, as well as those of corporate finance and financial and cost modeling.
In addition, topics that relate to business organization and planning, professional communication, business law and ethics will be studied. Students will also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real business settings.
Upon graduation, students will have gained a strong understanding of the relevant accounting theory and practice. They will be prepared to advance their academic studies at the graduate level, work as accountants or controllers within the accounting and finance departments of business organizations, or become tax advisors and auditors at a certified level.
