Engineering matters! Do you want to obtain a Bachelor's degree in engineering? Are you motivated to make a contribution to the future with innovative and sustainable technologies and to take on responsibility? Then our bilingual Bachelor's degree program in General Engineering with its holistic approach is just right for you. By working on research projects and interdisciplinary teams together with our partners from the industry, you will acquire technical skills and practical experience.
You will gain a solid foundation of basic engineering knowledge and specialize in one of our German-language engineering courses. This will equip you for the challenges of the 21st century. Our program is tailored to your strengths and needs.
This study bilingual program will be taught in English for the first three semesters. You will study modules of all STEM disciplines to examine the field of engineering in an interdisciplinary and praxis-oriented context - next to German classes. You discover the professional fields of engineering in a project-oriented way of working in teams. In the third semester, you choose an engineering specialization from a range of ten engineering fields. In a work placement in the fourth semester you join one of OWL's leading companies to gain professional praxis and improve your German. In the fifth semester, you will continue your specialization in German together with students from the German engineering programs.
