Introduction
Consumer behavior is a field of study that focuses on individuals, groups, and organizations and the processes that consumers use to choose, obtain, and use products or services. Consumer behavior as a specialized branch of study integrates concepts from psychology, sociology, anthropology, marketing, economics, behavioral science, decision-making science and basic management.
- Understand the basic concepts of consumer behavior as well as its application in purchasing decisions
- Examine and explore the reasons and motivations for consumer purchasing behavior
- To study and probe the relationship between internal and external influences such as psychological, social and cultural motivations and consumer purchasing behavior.
- Learn about the dynamics of human behavior and factors influencing consumer purchasing/decision-making behavior
