Key Summary
This program details and analyzes all aspects of criminology including, crime patterns, causes, methods, and theory development, as well as crimes in the modern world and responses to criminal behavior. It gives students a better understanding of the central issues defining contemporary criminology to allow them to have their own conclusions and evaluations. It analyzes the principles of an effective criminal investigation including all aspects related to equipment, technology, and procedures. It also describes investigation techniques and the processes of identifying and processing physical evidence.
