Life in Philadelphia

The city of Philadelphia is an important part of the Temple Law experience. Philadelphia is the first UNESCO World Heritage City in the United States and was recently named one of the top cities to visit in the United States in 2020 by National Geographic. Students’ academic programs are enhanced daily by the cultural and intellectual life of this beautiful and vibrant city, and at a much more affordable living cost compared to other east coast cities.

The sixth largest city in the country, Philadelphia is home to state and federal courts at every level, countless law firms, large and small, dozens of municipal agencies, and hundreds of other legal employers. Temple Law students can easily commute to New York City and Washington DC because of Philadelphia’s convenient location between the two major cities.
