Academic Program

Technion International courses are given at second-, third- and fourth-year undergraduate levels. Some include off-campus activities as well as business and industry site visits. Areas of engineering include: basic engineering and science, civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and related fields. Graduate-level courses are also available for those students who meet the requirements.

Please note that admission to our program does not assure admission to courses at Technion. The lecturer of each course will decide on each student’s acceptance respectively.

Housing

International students have the option to live in on-campus housing. On our modern campus, student dorms include six-person apartment units that consist of a shared kitchen and bathroom. Bedrooms are shared, equipped with 2 beds, 2 closets, and 2 desks. No linen or kitchenware is provided. Dorm rooms are limited and must be arranged at least 3 months in advance through Technion International. On-campus housing is not guaranteed, but all students accepted to the program may apply. More information about housing, including affordable off-campus options, can be found here.

Student Life

International students will easily integrate into student life at Technion, which supports a diverse, multicultural student community. You will be invited to an Orientation Day, designed to get you acquainted with peers, student life, and living essentials in Israel. On-campus, you’ll have access to a wide range of sports facilities (including an Olympic sized pool) and participate in a variety of social and cultural activities, lectures and trips to enrich your study-abroad experience. Off-campus, you will have all the resources of beautiful Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city located on the Mediterranean Sea.
