All applications will be submitted at the Ministry of Interior’s office in Haifa through the Technion.
Hi-Tech Work Visa:
Hi-tech Israeli companies can submit work visa applications for current international students and recent graduates who studied in certain “hi-tech professions”. The relevant fields are: Electrical engineering, electronics, information systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, optical engineering, data science, physics, exact sciences and medicine. Academic Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is granted to students based on their grades and achievements. It is given to students in their second through fourth years, in all BSc programs, who have high academic achievements meeting the threshold criteria for excellent students.
Financial Aid: Financial Assistance for undergraduate international students is agreed upon financial grant for four years, for students meeting the criteria and is at the discretion of Technion International. Financial aid is granted for the duration of the program (and not more than for 8 semesters), therefore applications can only be submitted to the Admissions Coordinator, before the start of their studies at Technion.

Inbal Zafir-Lavie, Scientist and entrepreneur passionate about translating innovation into improved patient care. With a Ph.D. in molecular immunology, Dr. Inbal Zafir-Lavie has led groundbreaking research in antibody engineering and cancer diagnostics. Her career ranges from biotech firms such as Bio-Rad, Aevi Genomic Medicine, and Merck. In 2020 Dr. Zafir-Lavie co-founded Nevia Bio, a startup dedicated to revolutionizing women's health diagnostics. Under her leadership, Nevia Bio became focused on transforming early detection, monitoring, and treatment guidance for gynecological conditions. By harnessing the unique biological properties of vaginal fluid as a liquid biopsy, the company aims to deliver earlier, more accurate, and more accessible diagnostic solutions—starting with ovarian cancer and expanding to the full spectrum of gynecological indications.
