Accommodation in the University Halls of Residence
All our international students are provided with accommodation in our Harcov dormitories. There is no need to apply for accommodation at the Harcov dormitories - once you are our student, a room in the dormitories will be automatically booked for you.
Advantages of living in Harcov:
- comfortable (two rooms share a bathroom and a kitchenette)
- near to the main campus (approx. 15 minutes on foot)
- affordable (approx. USD 110/month in a double room)
- rooms are equipped (including blankets, pillows and bed linens)
- washing machine, vacuum cleaner, etc. available on site
Sports and Leisure
The Technical University of Liberec is proud of its excellent sports facilities. The offer is wide from bodybuilding to tennis, sauna and so on. You can go and try out for yourselves.

Studying in the Czech Republic: Visa Information
Who needs a visa:
Students from countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland generally need a student visa or long-term residence permit to study in the Czech Republic.
Who does not need a visa:
Students from the EU, EEA and Switzerland do not need a visa to study in the Czech Republic. They only need a valid passport or national ID card.
