Curriculum
Year 1 - Start Your Business
Your program begins with a 5-week Learning Journey to Bucharest, Romania, with your team. Why Bucharest? This is a city full of startups, where the entrepreneurial mindset and atmosphere are present every day. While there, you have the opportunity to visit various companies, learn about doing business in Romania, and work together with your team, while earning money for a set goal. Back in Amsterdam, the routine starts: participating in courses, attending team sessions, arranging business meetings, and beginning to work on your company or projects.
Year 2 - Develop Your Business
During your second year, you will continue following courses and attending team sessions to enhance your business skills while working in your company. Again, you will go on a Learning Journey. This year, you and your team will travel to Cape Town, Africa’s biggest startup city. You will prepare this trip together with your team: deciding and arranging which companies you want to visit, what type of workshops you want to organize, and where to complete your 24H challenge.
Year 3 - Grow Your Business
The third year is focused on learning how to scale your business, as well as identifying a specialization to pursue. Throughout the year, you will attend courses to broaden your entrepreneurial knowledge, have opportunities to further develop organizational skills in a group setting, work in leadership roles, and contribute to team sessions. You will choose a destination as a team or as an individual for this year’s Learning Journey, which you will arrange entirely by yourself.
Year 4 - Evaluate Your Business
In the first semester of your final year, you will follow the normal schedule, including courses, team sessions, and minors which are focused on preparing you to do research for and write your bachelor's thesis. The second semester is reserved to finalize your studies individually by writing your thesis. You can write your thesis about your experience in setting up your own company or do research for another company (this can also be done abroad).
During your four years at Team Academy, you will have weekly workshops next to personal & team (business) coaching and mentoring. You can immediately apply everything you learn in the workshops to your business or project.

Program Outcome
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurship is an internationally recognized bachelor’s degree. This provides you with the possibility to enroll in any master’s degree (or pre-master’s, depending on the country) upon graduation, as well as numerous professional work opportunities.

An intrapreneur is an employee in charge of developing innovative ideas or projects within a company. Intrapreneurs have access to the resources and capabilities of an existing company. After studying at Team Academy you can work as an intrapreneur in the following roles:

Scholarships and Funding
Team Academy Amsterdam does not offer any scholarships.
Because Team Academy and its Bachelor of Business Administration in
Entrepreneurship is an accredited private HBO/Higher Education, as a Dutch and
International student (if you meet certain requirements, such as having the
nationality of an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or the United Kingdom), you can see if
you meet the requirements and request financial support for your study on DUO.nl.
How to Apply for this DUO Financial Support?
If you meet the requirements (see above), to apply for student financial support (the grant and/or loan), you need
- A citizen service number, in Dutch a ‘burgerservicenummer’ or ‘BSN’. You automatically receive one when you register with a Dutch municipality.
- To apply for DigiD and register at DUO.nl. Our school can be found under Stichting Schoolvision. Because we are a private institution, there is a form about a ‘tuition fee statement’ that our administration office has to sign and stamp once your application is complete. You have to fill in your details, and you have to upload this file in DUO after.
- To complete your application: your contract is signed, an official copy of your original diploma is made at our office, and your downpayment is paid. You do not have to enroll at Studielink, we register you at DUO as our student once the application is complete.
- To apply for the grant and loan yourself.
You can request the grant and the student loan at the same time.
