Introduction
Learn how to make a film during a ten-week intensive evening course. Film 10 Weeks teaches you the basics of the different disciplines – scriptwriting, direction, cinematography, sound, editing, and production.
You who have started to take the first serious steps towards filmmaking surely know how difficult it is to move on to a higher level on your own. Filmmaking is a collaborative process. You need knowledge and practice and you need a network of like-minded people if you want to improve.

Curriculum
- Training in scriptwriting and basics of drama and short film dramaturgy.
- Practice in personal instruction, stage design, and script-to-film conversion.
- Learning the basics of cinematography, composition, camera functions, and lighting.
- Handling lamps, filters, camera equipment, and visual shooting planning.
- Assessing recording locations based on sound engineer's work.
- Introduction to audio recording equipment and microphone selection.
- Basics of post-production.
Program Outcome
Upon completing the course, students will:
- Have a strong foundation in scriptwriting, drama, and short film dramaturgy.
- Gain practical experience in personal instruction, stage design, and script-to-film conversion.
- Acquire essential knowledge of cinematography, composition, camera functions, and lighting.
- Be proficient in handling lamps, filters, camera equipment, and visually planning shots.
- Be capable of assessing recording locations based on sound engineer's work.
- Demonstrate competence in audio recording equipment usage and microphone selection.
- Understand the fundamentals of post-production in film-making.
The students produced several short films during the course. The course is for you who want to immerse yourself in the knowledge you already have and want to create films supervised by professional filmmakers and get a network of film colleagues with the same goal, to one day be part of the film industry.
As the course takes place in the evening, it is suitable for you who want to be able to combine a great learning experience with work. The course is for you who want to create a film during ten intensive weeks, talk about the film, discuss the film, and realize your own and others’ cinematic ideas.

Upon completion of the course, a course certificate will be issued to the participant.
