The Practical Way You Learn

During your studies, you carry out practical assignments from real companies, working in groups and coached by lecturers and professionals with relevant professional experience. It’s a way of learning, an educational concept, we call Design-Based Education. You learn to draw on feedback to adapt your ideas and become more flexible, while also developing your teamwork and leadership skills.

Our international community brings together over 80 nationalities on our campuses. It’s an open environment that will help you broaden your horizons in many respects. And we offer more options to get you ready for an intercultural work environment. For instance, you could do one of the programs offered by RUN-EU or, depending on your degree, do your internship abroad or follow a minor subject in a different country through our Grand Tour or Exchange programs. You get to put together the right combination of courses and internships for you and develop both your professional and personal skills.

• Year 1 - Gain a strong foundation in computer science and develop an in-depth understanding of programming and hardware. Work on projects in small teams and take your first steps into the world of Artificial Intelligence
• Year 2 - Work on practical projects solving real-world problems using data science and computer vision. You work in teams on complex tasks, from data acquisition to model implementation, interacting with real datasets
• Year 3 - Spend five months on an internship in a company of your choice to gain experience in a professional setting. Then return to campus to explore industrial automation & robotics, electrical and system engineering, and smart sustainable manufacturing
• Year 4 - Specialise with a minor subject, going abroad, if you like, either through an exchange or at one of the Grand Tour locations. Or take the pre-master minor so you can continue straight on to your master’s degree after graduation. You finish your studies with a graduation internship in which you address an unsolved problem for a business or organization.
