Short description:

Energy economists have extensive knowledge in the technical areas, the basics of natural science and engineering, sustainable energy generation and conversion, and energy use. In addition, there is precise knowledge of the national and international energy markets. You will learn how to evaluate energy systems from an ecological and economic perspective and create energy and financing concepts for the rational use of energy in private households and in the operation of industrial plants. As an energy economist, you are a generalist with knowledge of conventional and alternative energies, the technologies used and economic production and use.
