If you are passionate about designing user experiences to satisfy customers, our UX & Service Design (M.A.) degree programme is for you. With services accounting for around 70% of the gross value added (GVA) generated in the European Union, designing services to meet customer needs is becoming increasingly important.
In this programme, you will learn to develop interactive processes and features, as well as professional services. This program is suitable for anyone who has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree and is enthusiastic about managing and designing user experiences to develop first-class services.

Every year we award a limited number of international scholarships for prospective students in our English-speaking programmes. Scholarships cover 50 per cent of tuition fees for the desired degree programme, i.e. a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

SRH Fernhochschule – The Distance Learning University is the first university to have been awarded the FIBAA seal “Excellence in Digital Education”. With the continuous changes in formats, the question of quality assurance is an essential one. Which standards are necessary to continue the new teaching and learning formats in a quality-assured manner? This is where FIBAA comes in and has developed the new certification “Excellence in Digital Education”. The new seal is based on the “Occasional Paper 26” of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) on the subject of “Considerations for quality assurance of e-learning provision” and development input from external experts from HE institution management as well as workshops of the FIBAA office on the subject.

Your future in UX & Service Design
You will become an expert in user experience and service design.
As an expert in user experience and service design, you will become skilled in designing the entire user experience with products, from material goods like furniture to services in hospitals and interfaces. Your goal will be to make services, products, and systems user-oriented and successful by researching and understanding user behaviour.
You will learn methods from both UX and service design disciplines and have the option to specialise as a UX designer or a service designer. Your expertise will be in demand in classic design and iX design agencies or in the industry, where you will be able to develop user-oriented solutions for both product and service industries.
