Introduction

Southeastern's Health and Physical Education program leads to teacher certification in Health and Physical Education for grades kindergarten through 12. Students who complete all teacher licensure requirements in Louisiana are certified to teach Health and Physical Education in elementary, middle/junior high and high schools throughout the state. Also offered are courses leading to teacher certification in Adapted Physical Education and a minor in Athletic Coaching.
