Key Summary

About: The Associate of Health Sciences program prepares students for healthcare roles, emphasizing foundational knowledge in health topics, wellness, and disease prevention. It focuses on various health science concepts and offers hands-on experience, equipping you with critical thinking skills necessary for a career in healthcare.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue roles such as health educators, healthcare support staff, or wellness coaches. You may also find opportunities in clinics, wellness centers, and community health organizations.

There is an increasing need for healthcare professionals. We designed our Associate of Science Degree in Health Sciences to serve two types of students.

This program provides you with a more focused transfer pathway into a health sciences program at a four-year institution. We will provide you with targeted and effective advice about preprofessional health academic programs and health sciences careers.

As a pre-health student in this program, you will learn about all the career options in the health care field while taking general education courses before enrolling in one of our programs. You will receive targeted advising, allowing you to engage with our faculty and students in the Health Sciences division.
