Introduction

The Farm Business Management program is designed for those actively engaged in a farm business's operation and management. The program's purpose is to develop the manager's ability to organize resources to meet business and family goals. Management uses resources to maximize the return to the scarcest resource, which is a continuous decision-making process. The program emphasizes goal setting, identifying resources, records management, business analysis, and interpretation.

Students must complete 6 MnTC credits from 2 of the 10 MnTC goal areas to complete the Diploma. Courses must be selected in consultation with the advisor/faculty.
