About: The National Diploma: Policing NQF 6 at the South African Business and Technology Institute (SABTI) in Johannesburg trains students aiming to bring positive change. The programme trains traffic officers through campus study, free Wi‑Fi and college practicals. On completion you receive a National Diploma from the Department of Higher Education & Training via SETA, plus Firearm Competency and SASETTA certificates.

Career Outcomes: Graduates can enter law enforcement, public safety and investigation work. Roles include Metro Police Officer, SAPS officer, Private Investigator, Risk Assessor and Forensic Investigator; using skills in traffic policing, community safety, investigation, risk management and evidence handling.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide a structured program for students who will be interested in bringing a positive change in the society; this course equips them with knowledge and skills to become traffic officers.

Upon completion, a National Diploma will be issued from the Department of Higher Education & Training through …SETA (….Sector Education & Training Authority). Practical’s will be organized by the College and upon completion, a certificate will be issued (Firearm Competency Certificate). Upon successful completion of the studies and practical, a certificate will be issued from the Department of Education (SASETTA).
