Introduction

The environmental crisis and climate change are already an unquestionable phenomenon in the world of science, although there is undoubtedly a shortage of centers that would be able to provide knowledge in a competent but also accessible way to people who are not professionally related to sustainable development issues. It is extremely important to build teams of specialists around us as quickly as possible who can take up the challenge of adapting the modern world to ongoing climate change and environmental degradation, in accordance with the guidelines set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Studies in the field of sustainable design meet the rapidly growing demand for designers and architects,

whose knowledge of the basics of sustainable environmental design, the basics of climatology and ecology, and carbon footprint in construction would allow for the effective implementation of sustainable development activities defined by the UN and decarbonization of the construction industry, without which it will not be possible to achieve climate neutrality.
