In 2019, the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) qualification was evaluated.

Following this review's recommendations, the University has decided to significantly redesign our BCom qualification in line with 21st-century trends in knowledge production, skills acquisition, and workplace demands.

Under the implementation of this process, SPU will not be enrolling new students into the BCom programme in 2021.

Students currently enrolled in the BCom programme at Sol Plaatje University will be unaffected by this course restructuring.
