About: SMK College of Applied Sciences provides an English Foundation preparatory course for students needing stronger English for university study. The course runs one or two semesters, full-time, with 12 academic hours per week, plus independent and group projects. It brings you to an upper-intermediate level, offers optional SMK classes to explore degrees, and includes cultural activities in Vilnius, Klaipėda and Kaunas. The certificate is accepted across Europe. SMK welcomes international applicants and applies a non-discrimination admissions policy.

For students needing to advance their English language skills, SMK offers English Foundation. The duration of the program is one or, if needed, two semesters. After completing the program you will bring your language level to the upper intermediate level which is required to study at SMK. The program is available every semester starting Fall and Spring and is delivered full-time.
The program consists of 12 academic hours per week plus various independent and group projects in order to help students better prepare for university studies.
Besides the English language, students are also able to attend various classes offered at SMK which could help to decide what to study at the university level. SMK also organizes various cultural activities for students to know Vilnius and Lithuania better. The obtained certificate will be accepted when seeking admission at other universities across Europe.
