This MSc focuses on technology-centric entrepreneurship and innovation. It is delivered jointly by SKEMA Business School and UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. Students follow a semester in Silicon Valley (Berkeley) and a semester at SKEMA (Sophia Antipolis), share classes with Berkeley students, and benefit from interaction with founders and industry experts. The curriculum covers technology entrepreneurship, product management, prototyping (MVP), growth marketing, startup scaling, and electives (e.g., Applied AI, Venture Capital). Students complete either a business plan (for those launching companies) or a dissertation, and can validate professional experience by launching a startup or doing a 4–6 month internship. Two delivery options are available: a one‑year MSc (for applicants holding a 4‑year degree or equivalent) or a two‑year MSc (for applicants holding a 3‑year degree or equivalent).
The curriculum is organized over two semesters (Fall: mid‑August to mid‑December; Spring: mid‑January to mid‑May).
Fall semester focuses on technology entrepreneurship, product management, prototyping and market validation (Newton Lecture Series, Challenge Lab, Technology Entrepreneurship, Product Management, Growth Marketing, Startup Catalyst). Students choose two electives (examples: Growth Marketing for Global Startups, Design Thinking, Data‑driven Business Models).
Spring semester concentrates on scaling, leadership, operational execution and advanced strategy (Start‑up Support with incubators, Business Development & Negotiation, Prototyping & MVP, OKR & Operational Excellence). Final requirement: either a business plan (for entrepreneurs) or a dissertation; students may complete a 4–6 month internship or launch/validate a startup as professional experience.
