Introduction

Natural medicine believes that healing will prevail when the conditions for health exist. When traditional water therapies, herbs, physical medicine and nutrition are used properly, the body's self-healing is facilitated. This research programme should investigate the mental, emotional and spiritual connections to various disease states and how they are overcome. In addition to innovating the use of several natural medicines, students should develop an important perspective of the life force and its role in the healing process when used in conjunction with the principles of natural health science.
