You will learn traditional economic theory, but also contemporary issues that are relevant to current trends in teaching and research. It trains you to think about the world – and how you can impact it positively.

Programme structure

The programme focuses on giving you a solid theoretical and methodological foundation through its mandatory courses and gives you the opportunity to pursue your areas of interest through the elective courses.

In the first year, students may explore advanced courses within microeconomics, macroecomics, mircoeconometrics and finance — all of which are taught in English. The curriculum explores topics such as the pandemic, war, inflation and so on. The teaching is mainly organized as lectures with practical assignments with the opportunity of individual supervision.
