A technology-driven, communication-focused double-major curriculum for the digital age

The Bachelor of Journalism, Media and Artificial Intelligence offers students a strong foundation in journalism and media, with a distinct focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping content creation, distribution, and audience engagement. Core courses, such as News Reporting and Writing, Media Law and Ethics, Video Production, and AI and Digital Technology for Media, reflect the programme’s commitment to journalistic rigour, visual storytelling, and media innovation. Electives allow students to deepen their expertise in areas such as multimedia production, specialist reporting, communication, and AI-enhanced media practices. Through a required internship and an integrated double major structure, students gain practical experience and interdisciplinary skills to lead and adapt in fast-changing, technology-driven media environments.

International Perspective

Students are required to spend up to a year abroad, studying at any of the more than 100 partnering institutions in Europe, and the United States, and Mainland China, including University of California at Berkeley, University of Edinburgh and London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Science Po Paris, Danish School of Media and Journalism, University of Missouri, and UNC Chapel Hill.
