Program Outcome
Learning outcomes
The master's degree course in Electrical Energy Engineering aims to provide the student with in-depth theoretical-scientific and professional knowledge with specific skills, which allow him to interpret and solve complex problems in Electrical Engineering which may also require an interdisciplinary. In particular, the student will delve into circuit theory and its application to the modeling of complex electrical systems, electrical systems for the production, transport, and distribution of electrical energy, electrical machines, and their control, power electronic converters, electrical and electronic measurements, and electromagnetic compatibility.
The training of the master's degree student, aimed at conceiving, planning, designing, and managing complex systems, is also aimed at resolving problems connected with the safety of the systems and with the environmental impact they produce in the places of settlement. These skills are achievable thanks to the enrichment of the solid wealth of knowledge already acquired with the degree, which is deepened on a methodological and applicative level through the two-year course of studies of the master's degree. In this way, it becomes possible to address the most complex problems of development, design, and management of modern components and systems, as well as to actively contribute to the innovation and scientific and technological advancement of the sector.
