Introduction

The Professional Master's Degree in Nursing in Primary Health Care at the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC) started in August 2017, after recommendation by CAPES in 2016.

The Master's program aims to qualify nurses to exercise advanced and transformative professional practice, meet social, organizational, or professional demands and the labor market, promote the articulation between professional training with demanding entities of different natures, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public and private organizations through problem-solving and the generation and application of innovation processes.
