    Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue roles in pediatric nursing, child psychology, pediatric therapy, and child health advocacy within hospitals, clinics, schools, and community health organizations.

The specialization in Pediatrics of the Sanitas University Foundation seeks to train comprehensive pediatricians with the clinical skills necessary to perform with competence throughout Colombia and anywhere in the world with the highest human quality and ethical commitment, both at the level of prevention, promotion, treatment, and rehabilitation of the health of the pediatric population.

The resident will be able to approach the practice and the case study. During the first year, emphasis will be placed on primary care for the child and his family, in the second on pediatric subspecialties, and the third on the care of the critically ill child. With this, it is sought that the pediatric professional of the Sanitas University Foundation is a leader in their community, covering the child and their family from the point of view of prevention and health promotion to the seriously ill child.

Additionally, the specialization places an emphasis on Research and Epidemiology with the possibility of taking an elective period to deepen specific areas of knowledge that are of interest to you.
