Introduction

In their cooking studies, students use a lot of clean and high-quality ingredients from the nearby area, such as reindeer, fish, berries and mushrooms, for cooking. Students are also actively involved in sourcing local raw materials.

In addition to basic studies, students have the opportunity to hone their skills in partner work commissioned by the school and at school celebrations and events.

The opportunities for development in the profession are almost limitless. In addition to Northern Lapland, our students have been studying in working life in Sweden, Norway, Russia and, of course, all over Finland. There are plenty of job opportunities for those trained in the restaurant industry, especially in the hotel and restaurant companies in the north.
