Introduction
This exciting diploma programme will introduce you to a wide range of evidence on the folklore and heritage of the North West.
In a supportive and friendly learning environment, you will develop the confidence and skills to trace family genealogy, learn about lore, life and mythology in the region, and be immersed in themes of local history and archaeology. You will benefit from a range of student-centred innovative teaching and learning strategies, including fieldwork and site visits.
The course comprises of 6 modules - 3 per year. There is no written examination as all modules are assessed by a short assignment or project. Individuals who do not want to complete assessments can still participate fully in classes and benefit from all that is on offer.
