This MSc International Management program is an intensive degree for students with a good degree in any discipline. It is not designed for those who have read management as part of a first degree, as it is a general management degree, and such applicants should consider an alternative postgraduate programme.

Program Overview

Our MSc in International Management is one of only 16 in the UK to be accredited by AMBA (Association of MBA’s). It includes all the major management functions and will enable you to build effective management skills, understand management within the global context and develop a wide international network of associates. This is achieved through the integration of a significant international element in our courses.

We will prepare you to enter the globalised world of work on a competitive footing, maximising your potential and widening your choices. Graduates may combine their first degree studies to indicate a market sector; likewise, interest in a functional specialism, such as marketing or human resources management, may indicate a career route with a multinational enterprise; moreover, important skills are gained for those entering fields, such as finance or accountancy, with professional, regulatory bodies.

Entry Requirements

-- At least a lower second class UK honours degree or equivalent.

-- For students whose first language is not English, with qualification from non-English speaking institutions, confirmation of English language proficiency is required:

  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with grade 7 in writing*, or
  • Paper-based TOEFL: 570 overall with 5.5 in TWE (Test of Written English), or
  • Internet-based TOEFL: 88 overall with 26 in the writing component, or
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English CAE grade C and above.
