Introduction
The Degree Course in Economics and Management aims to prepare students for a qualified entry into the world of work to fill intermediate managerial or decision-making roles, within companies and institutions, both public and private, that operate in the goods and services sectors.
In particular, the training course enriches the knowledge acquired during the three-year period, develops the ability to analyze and interpret business phenomena and increases the ability to make decisions related to business management. The degree course is systematically renewed taking into account the needs of the main stakeholders and offers innovative teaching also in digital product design, sustainability and big data management.
The teaching methodologies propose innovative solutions by integrating frontal teaching also with advanced technological solutions that allow students to acquire a critical approach to reading management problems.
At the end of the Course, the graduate must be sufficiently prepared to be able to take on, in a reasonably short time, positions of responsibility within (as an employee) or outside (as a consultant) the company; in this perspective, the development of internships and traineeships with a high experiential content, also carried out abroad, will be encouraged to facilitate entry into the world of work both nationally and internationally.
The Course of Study is divided into 3 paths:
- Innovation and sustainability (in English);
- Marketing;
- Strategy and management.

Program Outcome
The Degree Course in Economics and Management adopts interactive teaching methodologies to:
- develop connections between subjects with a view to maximum interdisciplinarity;
- enhance problem-solving skills through the collection and processing of information;
- encourage a predisposition to group work;
- learn to apply the knowledge acquired in experimental situations that reproduce the idea of the laboratory.
Career Opportunities
Graduates will be able to carry out tasks related to business management and can be placed in various organizational areas such as quality management and business processes, marketing and corporate communication, project management, organization and management of human resources, procurement, process and product innovation, administration and management control, sustainability management.
Marketing expert
Graduates will be able to apply the knowledge learned on concepts and operational levers of marketing, having acquired the managerial, quantitative and legal tools necessary to plan the market approach in private and public companies in an integrated way, also through the use of new digital technologies.
Expert in business strategy, management and organization
Graduates will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to understand and interpret the main aspects of business strategy and management and provide appropriate solutions. These skills will be integrated with technical-quantitative, economic and legal content that will support the typical management decision-making processes.
Innovation and sustainability
Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to start and manage the innovation process, having acquired (in addition to the basics of management) also the fundamental concepts and
language relating to sustainable production and logistics.
