Moreover, having a deep understanding of the Greek context enables students from the Archaeology LM-2 program at Roma Tre to expand their cultural perspectives and fully engage with the Greco-Roman civilization.
Field archaeology provides the perfect environment to utilize technologies and digital tools, allowing for the creation of new methods that can significantly broaden the scope of observation. Research generates an increasing number of questions about the physical aspects of ancient civilizations, while also providing a variety of answers that can be supported through interdisciplinary studies. Simultaneously, archaeological studies conducted in the field can incorporate insights from present-day challenges to help understand past societies, by examining the interaction between human and natural elements, patterns of change and consistency, and the evolution of societies over time.
