We are proud to have been able to establish and maintain long-standing partnerships with industry titans such as M&C Saatchi Abel, Loeries Creative Week, Meta, IMC Conference, FAME Week and Unstereotype Alliance.

Our successful partnerships have led to the creation of initiatives which benefit our students, including Brand Challenge which happens twice a year and our Workplace Learning initiative which happens in October.

Through the Workplace Learning Initiative, students in the Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication degree programme were placed at partner-organisations such as Woolworths, Ogilvy, Publicis, DUKE Advertising, OneDayOnly, OFyt and King James in 2022. Students doing the Advanced Diploma in Copywriting were placed at partner-organisations such as Butler’s Pizza, Mullen Lowe, King James, HelloFCB+ and Grid Worldwide.

We also host exciting guest lectures from industry leaders on a regular basis.

Red & Yellow does not itself offer on-campus accommodation, but some independent service providers include Campus Key, Digsconnect, GoGreen, RentARoom, Student Republic, Next-Level Student Accommodation, Student and Life, 106 Adderly and Nest.

At Red & Yellow, we understand that our students are people, not machines – and life often happens to people. That’s why we’ve ensured that we have a suite of services available to assist the valuable members of our community during challenging times. When you study full-time at our campus, these are services which aim to ensure that you have the necessary support to succeed.

Red & Yellow offers wellness and other support services which are rendered by a dedicated wellness and support officer on our team. For additional support, we also regularly engage the services of external counsellors as the need arises.

Our suite of wellness and support services include:

Mental Health Sessions for challenges related to anxiety, depression and other forms of stress.
Career Guidance and Counselling, including personal brand building, career battery assessments, self-mastery and other services within career planning.
Academic Support and Study Management, which is related to time and stress management, as well as broader academic support.
Access to our Career Centre, which offers resources for job searching, CV creation, interview preparation and internships.

Other general services such as wellness-related content shared for psycho-social and psycho-educational awareness; workshops; daily affirmation jars; support sessions; Wellness on Campus events; and access to essential items such as sanitary ware and other related daily essentials.
