Introduction

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. You will learn about the different areas of psychology which include: social, clinical, behavioral, cognitive, biological, and developmental psychology. Completion of the Psychology: Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) will prepare you to meet minimum lower-division admission requirements (60 transferable units) for transfer to a California State University (CSU) or the University of California (UC). For the transfer to a UC, please consult with a counselor for additional courses that may be needed.
