Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University combines having a long and illustrious heritage going back to the college founded by Robert de Sorbon in the 13th century with an innovative multidisciplinary mission. As France's leading university in the humanities and social sciences (SHS), since 1971 it has cultivated a unique spirit that combines a demanding scientific approach with the ambition of developing new knowledge to support transforming the world. As part of an international consortium composed of five European Universities and one American university, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University offers the Master Economics QEM program and though it work-based learning placements, potential future employers of our graduates, and lectures from some of the world’s leading experts and educators.

The University is located across 25 sites in the Paris region, and is also open to the world and Europe, as part of the Una Europa alliance with 11 other institutions. Almost 45,000 students are enrolled in the University each year, and it has one of the largest alumni networks on the continent. Thanks to its exceptional range of disciplines, the University trains researchers, teachers, legal professionals, business and government executives, economists, and artists, etc. But above all, it seeks to help students become engaged citizens, capable of critical thinking and analysing the world around them, to participate in devising practical solutions to the new challenges facing our society.

The consortium constitutes a union of institutions equipped with a solid scientific background and a long research history in economics and related disciplines, joining forces on the global expertise, experience, and networks of five (5) academic and four (4) non-academic associated partners from the EU and beyond. These Associated Partners act as complementary members of the Consortium.
