About: This BA trains graduates to interpret human roles in occupational health and safety and apply psychology, organization, management, and marketing. You’ll assess production processes, organize rescue operations, inspect compliance, propose improvements, evaluate technical and ergonomic solutions, investigate accidents, and implement preventive measures. Graduates must have B2 foreign-language proficiency and can pursue second-cycle studies.
Career Outcomes: You can work as a safety officer, OHS specialist, risk assessor, ergonomist, accident investigator, compliance inspector, HSE coordinator, or rescue coordinator in manufacturing, construction, public agencies, or continue to postgraduate study. Key skills include risk assessment, accident investigation, ergonomics, compliance inspection, and occupational-disease prevention.
The graduate will be able to interpret the role and place of man in health and safety activities with all its consequences:
- practical use of knowledge and skills in psychology, organization, management and marketing;
- assessment and course of production work processes;
- organizing and conducting rescue operations;
- conducting inspections of compliance with health and safety regulations;
- formulating conclusions on the improvement of working conditions;
- assessing technical and organizational solutions in terms of meeting health and safety requirements and ergonomics;
- examining the circumstances and causes of accidents at work;
- taking preventive measures to prevent and reduce accidents, breakdowns and occupational diseases;
- the graduate will know a foreign language at the B2 proficiency level of the European System of Description of Language Education of the Council of Europe and will be able to use a specialized language in the field of technical sciences;
- the graduate will also be prepared to undertake second-cycle studies, e.g. in the field of Environmental Protection, in the scope of the proposed specializations also related to OHS;
