The Peking University School of Government welcomes international students to study in the International Master of Public Administration (IMPA) program. The IMPA program seeks to enroll: university graduates interested in public sector management, government officials, staff of multinational corporations staff of international organizations, staff of research institutions, and international nonprofit organizations, as well as management staff of foreign government agencies, multinational enterprises, international organizations, and nonprofit organizations based in China.

Adhering to the philosophies of "spreading political culture, leading academic trends, cultivating excellent citizens, and creating outstanding leaders," the School of Government has closely integrated the discipline of public administration with China's major strategic needs. Over the years, the School of Government has nurtured many high-level inter-disciplinary public sector leaders in China and all over the world. This program is strategically positioned to develop outstanding leadership talent for the global public sector. It aims to nurture graduates who have an international perspective, are familiar with China, and who possess foresight, introspection, and innovation. In this program, students will master professional knowledge in the fields of public administration and public policy through advanced analytical methods and technology. They will be equipped with the ability to analyze and solve public sector problems in complex environments and be well-positioned for high-level interdisciplinary leadership positions in the public sector.
