"Coming all the way from India to Vancouver, everything was new and I had no friends. Student Services at PLC helped me a lot. They helped me with airport pickup. They also provided homestay for me. Moreover, they helped me find a part time job, which was a great help for me since. At PLC they do lots of events - some are social events; some are cultural. They are stress-busters for students, and nobody feels homesick."

- Confidently articulate the knowledge and skills obtained throughout their program.

Monthly Intakes
Pacific Link College offers programs that start every month. When it comes to applying for post-secondary education, many students are discouraged by the strict application period. If you miss the application deadline, this could result in you having to wait an entire semester or year in order to apply. At Pacific Link College, we want to make your post-secondary experience as enjoyable as possible, starting from the day you apply. We accept monthly intakes, which means you’ll be able to apply without having to wait for a specific application period to open. Our monthly intake allows students the freedom to apply at any time of the year.
Corporate Training
Companies, organizations, and individuals have the need to do professional training and upgrades at all times in their professional lives. Pacific Link College supports returning students who are interested in updating their business skills. Corporate training at PLC can be as short as a few weeks or longer, based on organizational needs. PLC provides training on a number of topics, from business, hospitality, and digital branding to information technology and early childhood education.
Career Support
Most university graduates, upon graduation, have to enter their careers without any support. Their education lacks practical training, which is crucial when entering the job market. At Pacific Link College, we provide support for our students even after graduation. We ensure that our students are assisted throughout the process of finding their careers in leading Canadian companies. The sum result of this dedication is a high number of student job placements after graduation.
Industry Experts
At Pacific Link College, we want our students to receive the best education from leading experts in their field. We feel, at Pacific Link College, that the way a student comprehends and excels relies heavily on the instructor and materials provided. Living in Vancouver
Situated between the ocean and mountains, Vancouver (Metro Vancouver) has stunning views, parks, and diverse culture. Students can explore the largest city in the province of British Columbia where outdoor fun meets modern life. PLC does not have on-campus student residences, however, there are many great accommodation, homestays and rental options in Vancouver.
Finding housing in Canada as an international student is an exciting yet crucial step in your journey. Before arriving, research your options thoroughly, as housing availability and costs can vary widely depending on the city and province. Common choices include student residences, homestays, shared apartments, or private rentals. On average, rent for a shared apartment or room ranges from CAD 600 to CAD 1,200 per month, depending on the location. Utilities (electricity, heating, water, internet) can add another CAD 100 to CAD 200 monthly. For transportation, a student bus pass typically costs between CAD 50 to CAD 120 per month, depending on the city. Factor in groceries and other essentials, which can cost around CAD 250 to CAD 400 per month, along with discretionary spending for leisure or personal items. In total, students should budget CAD 1,200 to CAD 2,000 monthly for living expenses. Start your housing search early, confirm your accommodation in advance, and familiarize yourself with tenant rights in Canada. By budgeting effectively and preparing for the Canadian climate, you’ll set yourself up for a comfortable and enriching experience!
