You’ll assist with promotions, media relations, and facility management for our 23 NCAA Division III varsity teams. You’ll have the chance to get involved in professional organizations and attend regional and national conferences. You’ll go on road trips and complete an internship. You’ll build skills and confidence and figure out where you excel and what you’re passionate about.

Internships

As a sports management major, you’ll need to complete a 12-week, 450-hour experiential internship geared toward your future. Our sport management students have interned at some cool locations, such as these.

Student Organizations

Join a professional organization and you'll learn about opportunities in your field and meet new people or conduct research with a faculty member. Students in sport management, for example, go on facility tours, compete in regional case study competitions, participate in real-time simulations, network with alumni, and participate in team promotions and marketing events for Polar Bear Athletics.
