About: The Master in Strategic Foresight and Innovation trains designers as strategists who view the world from a human perspective and rethink possibilities. You’ll learn complex problem finding, framing and solving to create sustainable futures and lead innovation with peers from entrepreneurship, social science, art, design and engineering. The program prepares you to think holistically, exploring, challenging and finding meaning to reframe and guide present and future actions. OCAD U (founded 1876) combines studio-based strengths with cross-disciplinary practice and emerging technologies.
Career Outcomes: Graduates work across sectors. Typical roles include strategic foresight consultant, innovation strategist, design researcher, futures analyst, policy advisor. You’ll join design studios, consultancies, startups, government and NGOs applying foresight and systems approaches to guide strategy and policy.
