If you are an international student finishing your high school exams and want to study at a UK or European university, but don’t qualify for direct entry, a foundation programme is (usually) the most direct route to university. Our pathway programmes are one-year preparation courses consisting of English language and academic preparation and are designed to bridge an academic gap and improve your English language so that you can achieve entry to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the UK or EU.

OnCampus Ireland, offers a QQI accredited international foundation leading to a QQI award level 5, and Pre-Master's programmes, leading to a QQI level 8, which enables international students to progress to prestigious universities and colleges. OnCampus Ireland, is based in Ireland's oldest university town Maynooth, located 25km west of Dublin.
The International Medical Commencement Programme is an undergraduate pathway programme preparing sponsored international students for Health Science education in Ireland. This integrated, streamlined and innovative programme will prepare you for study in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Podiatric Medicine, Occupational Therapy or Speech & Language Therapy. This is taught in Tralee, which is located on south-west of Ireland.
OnCampus Ireland International Foundation and Pre-Master's programmes are taught in Maynooth, Co. Kildare (located approximately 30 minutes from Dublin). On successful completion of the foundation or Pre-Master's programme, students are able to progress to a variety of Business, Law, Social Science, Medical, Science and Engineering undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes at a range of Irish and European institutions. The International Medical Commencement Programme aimed at sponsored students is based in Tralee, Co.Kildare.

Accommodation
At OnCampus, we understand the importance of having a safe and welcoming place to live while you study. We are proud to offer accommodation options in a number of student locations that are designed with international students in mind.
There are a range of accommodation options available to you in Maynooth and its surrounding towns, including a modern, stylish residence in the heart of Dublin. We also offer the following options at The Duke in Maynooth and Ardcairn (Dublin) as well as homestay options near in towns close to Maynooth provided in conjunction with our partner International Student Accommodation (ISA).
There are alternative accommodation options for students arriving into Ireland, including the option to stay with a host family through Homestay or in rooms provided by corporate student accommodation providers where you can get to know other students studying in Ireland. Private rented accommodation is also an option, and rentals can be organised through Estate Agencies in Ireland.

Maynooth is a university town in north County Kildare, Ireland. It is home to Maynooth University.
Ireland is located opposite Maynooth University and within a 5-minute walk to St. Patrick’s Pontifical University. It is located right by the town centre, meaning shops, cafes and medical services are all at a walkable distance alongside access to bus and rail services.
Maynooth is a country town located in a rural setting yet only a short trip into Dublin, Ireland’s capital city. This gives our students the best of both worlds – the quiet, community-driven, homely town and the busier bright lights of the city!
At OnCampus Ireland teaching centre on Moyglare Road, you will find a beautiful self-contained teaching facility with great spaces indoors and outdoors to socialise and spend some quiet time in without leaving the premises.
