Introduction
The Mathematics and Computer Science Department offer programs that lead to computer science majors and information technology management. Our computer science classes are generally small, making it possible for you to receive significant individualized attention.
The program stresses both theory and practice, with an emphasis on the latter. A series of required courses stress the fundamentals, whereas elective courses provide the opportunity to explore advanced topics. Both the required and elective courses provide exposure to a wide variety of software and hardware concepts. The computer science program provides a foundation for a computer science career or entry into a graduate program in computer science.
