Executive Management for Healthcare Professionals Certificate

Develop the management and business skills you need to run a successful healthcare organization with Ohio University's 100% online Executive Management for Healthcare Professionals Certificate. Finish your certificate program in four 7-week courses and apply nine credits toward an OHIO Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science in Management (MSM).

This certificate was developed through a collaboration between OHIO's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Business. Courses are designed to provide the business and management competencies healthcare professionals need most, covering topics that fall outside traditional medical education. Throughout your program, you will gain business skills related to analytics, Lean Six Sigma quality improvement, leadership and team-building that you can immediately apply in the workplace.

Graduates of this program are prepared for management and administrative challenges in healthcare organizations, expanding their practice and broadening their professional opportunities. Depending on previous experience, possible job titles include medical and health services manager, nurse manager and physician leader.
