Introduction

The Degree in Geological Engineering (LEG) came into operation in the 2006/07 academic year in the post-Bologna version. The LEG is a 3-year study cycle, six semesters, corresponding to 180 ECTS. It is accredited by the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES) for a maximum period of 6 years (last assessment in 2017) and received the EUR-ACE® Quality Mark, awarded by the Accreditation System of the Ordem dos Engenheiros, also for 6 years (2017-2023).
