Introduction

Program Description

Through a combination of lectures and practical experience, this one-year program will prepare students to work as animal groomers. Students can use the skills they receive to work for other animal service providers or to start their own businesses. This program may be taken concurrently with the Veterinary Assistant program. The student would then graduate with a double certificate. Graduates of this program are equipped with a solid base of technical skills and knowledge in animal grooming. They will be able to work in a number of settings, such as veterinary clinics, veterinary hospitals, pet grooming centers, and pet stores. They will also be able to start their own business.
