Introduction
NDSU’s MATrg program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Didactic coursework and clinical education focus on prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries resulting from physical activity. Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be eligible to take the Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. exam. The "ATC" credential is awarded upon successful completion of the BOC exam.

Program Information
NDSU offers two options for students to earn a MATrg.
3-2 Accelerated Program: This program is recommended for entering freshmen, student-athletes, and transfer students.
Two-Year Program: Students who have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field should apply to our two-year program.
