Online Photography Education

The education launches on November 1, 2025. Right now, you can get a 50% launch discount when you register for the education no later than October 31, 2025.

We start with the essentials – learning to understand your camera. Through practical video lessons, you are visually guided through your camera’s functions, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance. You’ll complete hands-on assignments that let you actively practice these techniques with your camera.

In addition to technical skills, you’ll also learn about professional lighting, composition, and post-processing, enabling you to create atmospheric and sharp images, whether you’re photographing portraits, nature, or products.

This education is for those who want to work professionally as photographers or for those looking to elevate their hobby-level skills.

The education is 100% online and gives you complete flexibility to study at your own pace. There are no fixed times or deadlines to adjust your schedule around, making it easy to fit the education into your daily life and individual needs.

Three quick facts about the Professional Photographer Education

How long does an online Photography education take?
At Nordic Online Academy, you can study to become a photographer at your own pace. The entire education is divided into 9 modules, which you can schedule according to your own timing. We recommend spreading the photography education over at least 4–6 months. This ensures a deeper understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of photography.

How much does it cost to take a professional photographer education at Nordic Online Academy?
At Nordic Online Academy, you can complete a fast and independent photography education for only 1500 euro. The price includes access to the online modules for a full two years, even after you have completed the photography education and received your certificate.

How much does a Photographer earn?
A photographer’s salary largely depends on their career path. Many of our students take the photography education with the aim of becoming freelance or self-employed photographers. As an independent photographer, your income can vary greatly depending on the number and type of clients you work with – and you can also choose to expand your services by combining photography with videography, which is increasingly in demand. If you prefer employment, there are opportunities to work for creative agencies, media and marketing bureaus, or even larger companies with in-house communication and content departments.
